Peers/Tutors
The core support element of the trials is a weekly "community of practice" investigating the use and integration of the smartphones and web 2 tools involving: the technology steward, the course tutors, and the students. Each trial "learning community" is also supported by the "neighbourhood" social networking feature of Vox, and the use of instant messaging for facilitating communication and a sense of social presence.
