Hello, This certainly provides food for thought. I guess I'm wondering how I could incorporate such technologies into a class of 150 students, for example.
What is the relationship to Bb? What advantages does this offer over Bb?

we were just starting to get deep and meangingful then
possible uses: new programme development involving lotsa contributions from lotsa people at once & as a record of meeting outcomes

in place of meetings - some virtual discussion and resolution
I think it would be great for a group to work on a document or presentation like this. Not so much for a discussion?
I agree ... and what about the issue of people being able to edit what you put up?
I don't mind, you can fix other people's ideas, if they are wrong.. :)

Sorry - slight holdup I thought the presentation was good in that it demonstrated the participants journey with the different aspects of IT - I could do with a course similiar to this
I agree ... the issue is always trying to find the time to fit such learning into my timetable.
true, sometimes you just need to sit down and tackle new things like this. I was proud of myslef the other day getting digital photos printed thru an online printer! www.tickle.co.nz That's something I'd never heard of. I guess I'm concerned that the students will know more than me ... but I know intellectually that is ok. Using IT technologies maybe we have to be prepared to allow the students to be in control.
I think we need to concede that the younger generation alredy know more than us when it comes to IT stuff and have the confidence to mess around til they get what they want from it
